It's a fine base for staying in the middle of Goree. - the marvellous, perfect location near Dakar on Saturday evening makes it even more appealing. - the beautiful surroundings add to the charm of the hotel. - the renovated building and rooms feature a large comfortable bed. - Guests can enjoy good wifi during their stay.

Wonderful and delicious breakfast served in the courtyard. Our rooms at this place were reasonably spacious and fairly quiet with a large comfortable bed. Hotel's location was stunning, in front of the port. Besides, it was not far from Gorée and the central area.

The room was impeccably clean plus it had a sitting area, a work desk, and a couch bed. The place had a quiet atmosphere. The location seemed absolutely perfect and beautiful in beautiful colonial island...

I recently stayed at a charming guest house on a beautiful colonial island. The atmosphere was absolutely captivating, with African-inspired decorations that made it feel like an art gallery. The attention from the staff was exceptional, they were incredibly warm and friendly. The room itself was spacious, with high ceilings and a comfortable bed adorned with a mosquito net. Despite not having air conditioning, the room was cool and comfortable thanks to the two fans and the refreshing ocean breeze. The location was perfect, with easy access to the jetty and a lovely patio and balcony to enjoy. Additionally, the optional lunches were delicious and the courtyard was a great spot for breakfast or a relaxing evening. With its exotic feel and personal touch, Maison Augustin Ly is definitely a romantic haven worth visiting.

The location was perfect, just a few steps from the main square and the beach. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and pastries. The terrace had an amazing view, it was perfect to watch the sunrise on new year's day. The staff was friendly and always willing to help with recommendations.

The room was too noisy, you could hear other guests walking and talking in the hallway. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.

My partner and I stayed at Maison Augustin Ly for two nights and had a wonderful time. The staff, especially Phillipe, were extremely attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room had an authentic charm and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely, with tasty omelettes, tea/coffee, bread, and bissap juice. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. The island itself was beautiful, with historic houses and a peaceful atmosphere.

We loved our stay! Best aspects were the hotel's cleanliness and facilities. The breakfast was delicious - we especially enjoyed the omelette. The staff were courteous and helpful, making our transportation easy. The location was perfect, close to main attractions and right in front of the port.

It was conveniently located in a quiet corner of the island, yet just a short stroll away from the main attractions, including the port and restaurants.

If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have a wider variety of cold drinks available. Additionally, a dedicated guest computer would have been a useful amenity.
